2020-21 Power Tryouts

LATEST UPDATE: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U have finished the tryout evaluations. We still have a need for 8U. If you have interest in 8U (born 2012, 2013), please contact Jeff Peabody, pittsburghpowerpeabody@gmail.com, to schedule a private tryout.
Instructions:
- Preregistration recommended using this Tryout Registration Form.
- Girls wishing to try out should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the tryout to register and warm up.
- Please bring a birth certificate.
- Bring a check for deposit if selected and accepting a position on a team. Your deposit locks in your spot on the team.
- No cost ($0) to tryout.
- Electronically sign the COVID-19 waiver using this COVID-19 Waiver link.
2020-21 Player Fees:
Total fees for the 2020-21 season is $1,200. Fee schedule is set as follows (all checks payable to “Pittsburgh Power Softball”):
- $300 due upon making a commitment to a Power team (August tryout timeframe); given to team manager
- $300 due by September 30th
- $300 due by October 31st
- $300 due by November 30th
For 8U players, total season cost is $500 with $100 check due at time of accepting a spot on a team during tryouts. Please bring your checkbook! Please bring copy of your birth certificate.

Directions:
The Power Fields are located in Zelienople, PA. 129 Tollgate School Rd, Zelienople, PA 16063
From Zelienople business district, head south on Route 19 approximately 1 mile. Immediately after passing bowling alley on your left, turn left onto Tollgate School Road. Fields are on your left.
From I-79 NB, take Exit 83 (Evans City). Turn left at end of ramp onto Route 528. Go approximately 1/4 mile to T intersection with Route 19. Turn right onto Route 19 North. Go approximately 1 mile. After passing below an overpass, look for Tollgate School Road approximately 500 yards past overpass, and turn right. Fields are on your left.
Parking: You can park in the grass above right field on Field 1 or in the empty parking lots off of Rt. 19.
